Where is Ikal Tulum Hotel?
Our location is an easy 5 to 7-minute drive from downtown Tulum. We are in Playa Maya inside Parque Nacional El Jaguar Zona Arqueológica, between Playa Paraíso and Playa Pescadores, at Tulum, Quintana Roo.
How do I get to IKAL Tulum?
Tulum is 120 kilometers from Cancun, approximately a 1.5-hour drive, and Tulum airport is 50 minutes away. We’ll happily arrange a shuttle service or private driver for you. Other forms of transportation, from regular buses departing from the airport to shuttle services, are also available.
What kind of activities do you offer?
Wellness activities include daily yoga, meditation, ice baths, temazcal, sound healing, and ceremonies at our different spaces: The Shala, Medicine Wheel, Tara Stupa, or Sacred Fire. We also have a unique program for kids. Check out our daily program and follow us on Instagram for special events and last-minute updates. We can’t wait to see you and share our beautiful place and activities.
What types of rooms do you have?
Imagine waking up in your oceanside cabaña as you dip into your private pool and enjoy all our hotel offers. Ikal is a Modern Mayan Sanctuary on the beach inside Tulum’s National Park. All our accommodations were designed by sustainable and eco architects and blend beautifully with our surrounding jungle. You can choose from a large, unique suite to a beautiful treehouse or a bamboo cabaña surrounded by the jungle.
Is Ikal pet-friendly?
Unfortunately, we cannot receive animals due to our location inside The National Park.
Which is the entrance to Ikal?
Hello! Since we are inside a Protected Natural Area, the entrance might vary. For now, the entrance to Ikal is through Kore Hotel, the main avenue.
How can we access Ikal through the National Park?
If the entrance changes through the National Park, Tulum Archaeological Zone, you can enter between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Please complete the form below if you attend any activity after 5:00 pm. The National Park will charge you a contribution of 61 Mexican pesos invested in preservation. Credit and debit cards are accepted, but the cash option is limited.

Do you have activities for kids?
Yes, we have a regular program for children, including sports, kundalini yoga, and bungee at the aerial shala. Special events offer arts & crafts, family kirtan, concerts, and ceremonies.
