Re-experience RestAura 2022 @ OFRENDA

An experience centered on honoring the land, learning from tradition holders, and celebrating through music, art, play, and community.

RestAura is much more than a gathering. It is a collective prayer celebrating that we are alive, here, now! Everyone who came did so because they knew the importance of honoring the land, learning from tradition holders, and celebrating through music, art, play, and community. The ripples of the love shared at RestAura 2022 in March still vibrate deep within us. The waves of the blessings, the teachings, the offerings, and the warmth of the sacred fire are still present and will continue to heal us in many ways and forms in the coming months.

Join us for RestAura 2023 on March 17th – 19th. Stay close to learning about our Early Bird prices.

We want to share the love, the peace, the trust, the acceptance, the enoughness, and all the gratitude we lived during these days. Thank you to our Elders, our patient and loving guides who devoted their time, to sharing knowledge, practice, and joy. Thank you to everyone who participated, collaborators, volunteers, friends, family, and guests. You are the essence of this experience. This is us! Our nature, our spirit, our land, our world, and our existence all move around the community, our community. We must follow up on the connections and ideas created during RestAura and expand our consciousness together.

Honoring the Self

Day One at RestAura was about honoring the Self. We connected to what it means to be alive, in alignment with our different bodies, and grateful for another day on planet Earth. A powerful opening ceremony was followed by Andean offerings, panels led by thought leaders, Tibetan Buddhist and Mayan teachings, a kirtan, and much more. The Act of Giving is Receiving.

Honoring Relations and Communities

Day Two at RestAura was about honoring our relations and communities. We started the day with our second Andean Offering, led by Altomisayoq Maria Apaza and Don Vicente from the Q'ero nation, only to fill it with more words of wisdom by Mayan, Toltec, Q'ero, Andean, Wixárika, and Tibetan Buddhist tradition holders. We listened to the music of Tito La Rosa and Natalia LaFourcade in an original, unpublished song offering by the fire. We laughed and played with our children by the ocean, danced and elevated our bodies, and sang our favorite medicine music songs in the shala under the full moon with Huaira, Emanazul, Moncaya, Benny Oyama, Natalia LaFourcade, Tito La Rosa, and more.  Kawsaypaq! Thank you, Life!

Honoring the Pachamama and All Life on Earth

Day Three at RestAura was about honoring Pachamama and All Life on Planet Earth: every plant, animal, mountain, and valley, drop of water and spark of fire, every human and every being that makes this moment here, now, possible. Nothing exists but in deep interconnectedness to everything else. We are one small cog in a perfect, beautiful, powerful engine of Love and Life. Thank you, RestAura, for helping us connect to this vibration, for it is from there, that we can heal, remember, and act from a place of integrity and compassion. May the fire of RestAura continue always to light us from within. May the words of wisdom shared at RestAura always sing to us from within. May the benefits reaped from the gathering benefit all sentient beings! The Act of Giving is Receiving

RestAura would not be possible without our team of +100 collaborators who come together under the guidance of one vision: facilitating a gathering like no other. Celebration, offering, community-driven co-created experience, RestAura is also a solid network of humans who show up to give their best, whether it is on panels, ceremonies, concerts, backstage, but also inside the kitchen, at reception, at the restaurant staff, or keeping our altars bright and alive.

Thank you to all the humans who made this all possible. Without your generosity, RestAura would not be what it is today.

For Life, and All Sentient Beings. Kawsaypaq! Om Mani Padme Hum! Aho, Aha Ahau!
